Archive – Past Concerts

Thank you for coming to our website.   We have missed seeing you at our in-person concerts but we have been busy putting together this virtual concert for you.  We hope you enjoy!

Comments about our virtual concert!

Such a great concert! I listened to it this morning, while watching the ocean …. I cannot wait until we can see you playing live, again!!  BRAVA!! – T.N.

Thank you! I’m figuring out how to get it out to the community! I watched it. You guys did a really GREAT job!!! – D.C.

This is wonderful, Robin! I love it and you guys play beautifully!  Great job to whoever created and edited the video! – M.

I just finished listening to the Ensemble a la Carte YouTube video.  Congratulations; it was wonderful.  It’s hard to say what I enjoyed most about it — the professionalism, the personal accounts of the performers and the music, the diversity of performances, the creativity in its production, the color coordination.  Being a flutist, I really enjoyed hearing the Muczynski Duos on flute and sax, and in sound texture, I think I enjoyed it more than having it being played by two flutes.  It was good to see friends again, Kristi and Robin, Lora and Angie, and my colleague, Karen (whom I don’t really know).  Well done!  (Makes me want to play better, so I better get back to practicing…)  – T.F.

I meant to tell you Angie that I listened to Ensemble a La Carte too and thoroughly enjoyed it!  I’ve known and performed with the flutist Karen for a LONG time – she is awesome! – M.M.

Thanks for sharing this. What a treat. Must have been quite a challenge to get it all coordinated with perfect timing. – B.W.

Really enjoyed watching the Ensemble a la Carte concert – thanks so much for sending – interesting and entertaining programme, variety, music beautifully played, music/composers we haven’t heard – and the video editing was amazing – how you got all that together – a lot of work. We looooooooved your piece with Pearl! Funny, clever storyline, and playing with yourself! It was sooooooo nice to see you and her running around your house!!! She is A Star! This is a lovely piece for you to have of her! Congrats to the Ensemble. 😘😘😘😘😘😘

WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL CONCERT!!!! It is delightful in every way ! You all have a gift for musical selection AND performance !! The editing was outstanding ! Loved hearing from you . Thank you all for rekindling the connection .  It was so great to know ( and hear) about what you are doing !!  – C.P.
