Kristin Zempolich - is a freelance horn player in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. A native of Maryland, she attended James Madison University, where she received a B.S. in Psychology. After completing her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University, Ms. Zempolich returned to the DC area and has since played with several local groups including the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, the Victorian Lyric Opera Company, the Virginia Grand Military Band and the Rockville Concert Band. She has performed solo pieces with the Rockville Concert Band, including Saint-Saens' Morceau de Concert and the Romanze from Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 3, and has participated in many chamber music performances in the area. In addition to playing with Ensemble à La Carte Ms. Zempolich is currently the principal horn player with the Trinity Chamber Orchestra as well as the third horn with the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra.
